With Tropical Storm Ida likely to produce hazardous travel across the Southeast, consider these options if traveling to Pensacola:

  • Use caution driving through coastal or low-lying areas.
  • Seek alternate routes if necessary. Even Interstate highways may temporarily close until localized flooding recedes. 
  • Anticipate fuel shortages or delays and fill up sooner than usual.
  • Monitor published road condition reports and closures:
